Can the RTX 5080 run ELDEN RING?

Against the requirements the publisher of ELDEN RING states on its own store page, and what the RTX 5080's 16 GB of memory does to that answer.

Expected settings

4K, ultra settings

The RTX 5080 is far enough past what ELDEN RING asks for to target 4K at ultra. At 1080p the processor is more likely to be the limit than the card.

How this estimate is made, and what it is not

Only one thing on this page is a fact: the requirements table, which is what the developer published on the game's own store page. The settings tier is an estimate — it places this card and the publisher's stated cards on the same relative performance index, then caps the result where the card's memory could not sustain it. Nobody benchmarked this exact pairing, which is why you will not find a frame-rate figure here: a number invented by a formula would look more precise than anything the method can support. Drivers, the processor beside the card, the storage the game sits on and whatever upscaling you enable all move the real answer.

The rest of the machine matters too

A card that clears the bar can still be held back by the processor in front of it, and a supply that cannot feed it will shut down mid-session rather than drop frames.
